Warehouse Leader
Decathlon internalized its logistics in 2022 by opening its own self-operated warehouse in Israel, in Caesarea. It is a major step to support our local strategies: provide a quick service to our stores, offer an outstanding experience to our online customers and promote repair and recycling in our business.
Currently, more than 100 teammates (team leaders and warehousemen) are committing every day to serve the sense of the warehouse: deliver the right item at the right moment, at the best environmental and economic cost.
The next challenges in front of us are: implementation of the next-day delivery for online orders, integration of the circular business model in logistics, and extension of the warehouse building.
We are looking for an ambitious person, passionate about sport and full of energy, to take over the leadership of our warehouse and accompany the whole team in the next stage of its development!
Job description:
- Build and mobilize the warehouse team around the country project and warehouse goals
- Drive the full entity in reaching a better service level for stores and online customers and the best possible cost
- Manage the economic performance of the warehouse: set the indicators and objectives, create the budgets, analyse the performance, be accountable and take actions when needed
- Ensure the conditions for the personal and autonomy development of all teammates
- Project the logistics activity in the coming years and anticipate the changes linked to our strategic orientations
- Build a sustainable team of leaders, source of talents for the company and to replace you
- Ensure the safety of people and goods inside the warehouse and compliance with labor laws
